Graphic design is our passion. We are obsessed by the challenges of a discipline that exists in a state of constant flux. At its best, it can be thought provoking, beautiful, memorable and leave a lasting impression. At its worst, it is visual pollution, meaningless and ignored.
There are fundamental qualities that the very best design has, whether for print or screen - attitude, originality, integrity and impact. At SPIN we make bespoke, expressive and lasting designs for our clients that are built on these timeless principles.
Inspired by the renowned German designer Otl Aichers’ vision of what a design studio could be - creative, collaborative, focussed, inclusive - we recently moved into a purpose built space at the bottom of a (sub)urban garden in South London. We have a vegetable patch, a herb garden, a lovely place for clients and collaborators to visit, and an idyllic space for us to work in.
The partners at SPIN are: Design Director, Claudia Klat, Managing Director, Patricia Finegan and Creative Director, Tony Brook. If you would like to know more about us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
If you are interested in an internship at SPIN please mail Edie Lippa with your CV and a PDF or URL. We look forward to hearing from you.

A short note on the website: The Work section which features many new, and recent projects and a few older commissions we feel are still relevant. The SPIN: 360º area houses our experimental and self-initiated work, an important part of our personality. Workshop shares behind the scenes activity and aspects of our process, we try hard not to be chained to our computers. Photography has always been an important part of what we do, so Travelogue features personal photography from our trips. What a wonderful thing a good book is, the Library shows some of the books that have influenced us and given us pleasure. The Studio area creates a picture of our studio environment and our approach.
