James Rosenquist

James Rosenquist is well known for creating fragmentary images, sometimes of overwhelming proportions. Reflecting this, but at a more human scale, we created a long fold-out invitation and combined this with a typographic treatment which echoed the artist's psychedelic Pop palette. The typeface itself is a customised Rounded Futura, leaded closely to create a tight, stable block to stand out against the bold artwork.

The catalogue is casebound with a folding dust-jacket and features several throw-outs to accommodate the oversized artworks.
