The Institute of Contemporary Art

Situated on The Mall (near Buckingham Palace), the ICA has a wonderful reputation for exhibiting cutting-edge contemporary art. Over the last sixty years or so it has been the scene of many of the most interesting and important art events in London and it has a unique place at the heart of the British art scene.

Based on the fluidity of water molecules – each molecule symbolising the many different aspects of the ICA: the Gallery space, Bar, Cinema and Theatre – this playful solution with its vivid colour palette and legible typography captures the spirit of optimism surrounding the gallery as it enters a more accessible phase of its 60 year history.
