BBC
BBC Creative
The BBC’s in-house agency that provides cross-platform solutions and external branding and marketing materials to further the key role the organisation plays in British culture.
Beginning with an open-sided cube, we developed a wireframe drawing resembling the letter 'C', which variously morphs, rotates and skews through multiple iterations, ranging in shape and scope from three-dimensional sculptures to complex, repeating patterns, presented as wall-based murals.
BBC Reith
Spin created a campaign to help launch a family of fonts – the first ever designed specifically for the BBC by notable typeface studio, Dalton Maag in sans, serif, light and bold. BBC Reith, named after the founder Sir John Reith, became the corporation's new face in 2018 and united its multi-lingual, digital and analogue requirements. A series of posters, animations, webpages, user guides and limited editions communicated the context, personality and implementation of each typographic iteration.
