Unit Editions is an independent publishing venture, producing books for an international audience of designers, design students and followers of visual culture. It was formed in 2010 by Tony Brook and Patricia Finegan of design studio Spin and writer, designer and educator Adrian Shaughnessy. In part, it was prompted by frustration at the quality of design books available and a faith that quality in both design and writing would find a market. That faith has been more than borne out’.
