The teams work revolves around the clinical and sensory needs of young patients commissioning forward-thinking designers, multi-media artists, and landscape architects to develop innovative solutions and create welcoming, comfortable and engaging spaces for children. They also deliver a programme of engagement activities to further support the wellbeing of patients, their carers and the NHS staff.

The scope of the project involved not only rebranding but also renaming, from Artfelt to Art+. With an explicit desire to speak to wider audiences including potential donors and ambassadors, brand/artist collaborations and ‘higher-level’ partners the identity sets out the quality of the Art+ team and their laudable ambition to improve the experience of everyone who comes into contact with the hospital.
