The name sprang from a book on Shiva Advaita (Nondualism) philosophy by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, a Hindu spiritual teacher who lived in Mumbai.
Our creative response was inspired by conversations with Garth and the team at I am that centred around a shared enthusiasm for Fluxus- the renowned international, interdisciplinary community of artists, composers, designers and poets during the 1960s and 1970s who engaged in experimental art performances which emphasised the artistic process over the finished product.
The identity has a sense of being in the process of being made, and of interconnectedness across the various iterations that suggests nonduality.
