Material Futures

A highly innovative course run out of UAL that blurs the boundaries between design, science and technology, anticipating the future needs and challenges we face in the 21st Century. Encouraging a ’multi-disciplinary approach to design through trans-disciplinary practice and collaboration’ students explore how society could live productively in the future.

Our response reveals abstract graphic textures and how they might appear through the lens of a microscope, combined with lettering that references forms found in test tubes.
